PRESIDENT OF BORANA UNIVERSITY VISIT KENYA

The reception dinner meeting hosted by the Borana Professionals Associa

tion for Dr. Boku Tache, the president of Borana University of Ethiopia, was a successful and productive event. The presence of esteemed Borana leaders such as Kabale Tache, Jarso Guyo Mokku, Hon. Amina Kulle, and Suleiman Waqo added to the significance of the occasion.

Dr. Tache's visit to Kenya to discuss collaborative engagements with leading Kenyan universities and support organizations highlights the commitment to strengthening the academic and research programs of Borana University. With a student population of 1666 and a staff establishment of over 700, the university is on a path towards excellence.

The launch of the Jattani Ali Tandu Scholarship Fund, known as "MALKA," is a commendable initiative to empower young Borana elites and honor the legacy of Jattani Ali Tandu. Dr. Tache's appeal for global support for the "MALKA INITIATIVE" is a call to action for all Borana individuals to contribute to the development of skilled human resources within the community.

As we move forward in supporting Borana University and the "MALKA INITIATIVE," let us maintain a professional tone and communicate in English to ensure clarity and unity in our efforts. Together, we can make a significant impact on the education and empowerment of the Borana community.
