Marsabit County musician artist Rufas is a musician, artist and educator with over 5 years of experience. Her music reflects her Kenyan heritage, with influences drawn from traditional Kenyan music and western classical music. 

Her repertoire ranges from solo classical pieces to popular Kenyan songs, with a special focus on traditional music from the Marsabit county and Embu provinces.

Rufas has performed in Kenya, and has been a guest lecturer on music at several universities in Kenya. She is the recipient of several awards, including the prestigious Kora Award for Best Traditional Musician from the Kenya National Academy of Music.
