RUTO INAUGURATION AT KASARANI

Today marks the fifth inauguration of Kenya president William Ruto, and we couldn't be more excited!

We're hopeful that with a new leader, we can gain access to better jobs, lower prices on food, and a more welcoming environment for all.

We're also excited to see how much more support he'll have from his constituents in Kasarani. The people of this neighborhood are some of the most passionate about politics—they've been organizing for change for years. We've been following them closely over the last few years and we're thrilled that they've helped elect their first female president in Beatrice Atieno Ologhoro!

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Kasarani Stadium where over 50,000 people came out to celebrate.

The ceremony started with a march by various groups from different parts of Nairobi including members of parliament who walked through the streets singing patriotic songs. The parade then moved into Kasarani Stadium where they were joined by many other groups who had come to observe this special day.

The event was presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Vice President William Samoei Ruto as they welcomed their fellow countrymen and women into a new era of democracy in Kenya.
